During the month of World AIDS Day, The Ernest Foundation ran a comprehensive HIV/AIDS awareness campaign that reached thousands of people across our target communities and in the UK diaspora community.
The campaign included free HIV testing events, educational workshops, social media outreach, and community discussions. We partnered with local health authorities and other NGOs to maximise our reach and impact.
Key campaign results: Over 800 people tested for HIV; 95% received their results; those testing positive were connected to treatment and support services; and over 5,000 people engaged with our educational content about HIV prevention and reducing stigma.
